Worship Arts Ministry

Adult Worship Team Instrumentalist/Vocalist 

Who?
Any auditioned person who sings or plays an instrument and seeks to serve as a lead worshiper for the Gateway church family.

What?
Guitarists (Electric, Bass, Acoustic),  Keyboardists, Vocalists (all parts), Percussionists, Harmonica, Accordion, Strings, Brass, anything really!

When?
Instrumentalists and Vocalists generally serve 1-2x per month, with around a 7hr time commitment on serving weeks. This includes private practice (1-1.5 hrs), Thursday night rehearsal (6:30-8 PM, 1.5 hrs), and the two Sunday morning worship services (8:00 AM-12 PM, 4 hrs).

How?
Sign-up and you will be contacted to set up a skills assessment (kind of like an audition, but less scary) with our Worship Ministry Team.

Adult Worship Production (Tech) Team

Who?
Anyone who likes working behind the scenes and has a knack for technology.

What?
Running live sound or livestream sound, cameras, lights, switching video for our livestream, running our slides and lyrics, or serving as a backstage manager.

When?
Production team volunteers generally serve 1-2x per month, with around a 3-5hr time commitment on serving weeks. This includes Thursday night rehearsal (6:30-8 PM, 1.5 hrs), and the two Sunday morning worship services (8:00 AM-12 PM, 4 hrs).

How?
Sign-up and you will be contacted to set up a conversation with our Worship Ministry team to discuss where you might best fit this ministry!

Worship Stage Design Team

Who?
Anyone who likes working with their hands, DIY projects, or design and has a basic working knowledge of carpentry.

What?
Designing, constructing, and helping set up our stage for special services (like Good Friday and Easter), as well as a couple of times during the year when we install a new design on our stage.

When?
Stage team volunteers generally serve 3-5x per year, usually around special service times (Good Friday, Easter, Anniversary Sunday) and when we build and install new stage looks for Sunday mornings (usually 2-3x per year).

How?

Youth Worship & Creative Arts Team

Who?
Any auditioned person who sings or plays an instrument and seeks to serve as a lead student worshiper for the Gateway church family.

What?
Guitarists (Electric, Bass, Acoustic),  Keyboardists, Vocalists (all parts), Percussionists, Harmonica, Accordion, Strings, Brass, anything really!

When?
Instrumentalists and Vocalists generally serve 1-2x per month, with around a 2 hr time commitment on serving weeks. This includes private practice (1-1.5 hrs), Wednesday night rehearsal (30min), and the one Wednesday night worship service (5:30-7:30, 2 hrs).

How?
Sign-up and you will be contacted to set up a skills assessment (kind of like an audition, but less scary) with our Student Worship Ministry Team.
